'They are the second best team' - Michael Owen names Man City's biggest threat to win

Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen has named Arsenal as Manchester City's biggest threat to win  Champions League championship this season.

Owen believes Arsenal is among the top three teams in the Champions League because of the team's ability.

The former Real Madrid and Liverpool striker had this to say after Arsenal beat Sevilla 2-1 in their Champions League away match on Tuesday.

Recall that Man City is currently the defending champion of the tournament after defeating Inter Milan 1-0 in  last season's final.

“I think this Arsenal team, in terms of their ability and what they do every week, is one of the biggest challenges for Manchester City in this league. I think they are very good,” Owen told TNT Sports.

"But the problem is,  as Man City has shown, the teams are very strong in the national championship, if it is your first time participating in the tournament, it may take you a lot of time to learn and overcome. Those experienced teams, I think that's what Arsenal can find this season.

"In terms of ability, I think they are the second or third strongest team. But can I see them making it far into the late game based on that lack of experience...that's a tall order, but they're pretty good, ability wise.
